China's J-21/J-31 5th gen Fighter

... and China has another (copied) fighter! Definately 'borrowed' from the F-22 Raptor. Well, what's new? I still think the J-20 looks cooler. :)

Nightscape 8300 CCD Camera

Nice! How'd you use it though?

Nightscape 8300 CCD Camera

*Think will need a telescope for this!

Upcoming Titles!

Hmm... quite a few releases for the year end season, let's see what's coming up :

Assasins Creed III - Seriously i never really got into this game since the first one was.. kinda weird i felt, but i'll prob give it a try again when they release some compilation of the first two, so i can catch up on the story.

Black Ops II -  The future setting kinda turned me off the game already. Will still prob pick it up for the heck of it though.

Borderlands 2 - Out already, should be interesting to see what it has to offer, as i found the first one kind of monotonous.

Dead or Alive 5 - Nuff' said! Must buy! ;)

MOH : Warfighter - Should be getting this, though i hope that it's not overhyped... just focus on the storyline guys! i don't care if Linkin Park or even Lady Gaga had a song in the game!

RE6 - Hmmm.. could be interesting, but the gameplay has been stale for a longgggg time. Not scary anymore.

MGS Rising - Might pick this up just to try.. Kojima's getting weirder by the day.

Then there's others like Far Cry 3, Grid 2, Dishonored, UFO : Enemy Unknown,  Doom 3 BFG ed, that will eventually pick up if the price is right.

Kinda spoiled by Steam now though, when they have sales, the prices are great. :)

1/6 USMC in the Persian Gulf War

Nice figure from DAM toys! The pose is natural... and the chem suit sure brings back memories! TFH already has this on preorder for 150 smackeroos!

Nu Gundam

Looking good! Although it's still about 3 month's away. This would be it's second iteration in Master Grade form, and one of the many models/toys that have been produced of the Nu Gundam.

The design of the Nu Gundam is one of the few i like in the Gundam universe; simple and elegant! Most new designs don't really appeal to me nowadays... well, maybe Unicorn Gundam does!

Antartic Expedition Ship - Souya

Seriously, this will make a great display piece! Bandai's Chogokin for Adult's series is a bit rich for my blood though! This is over 30,000 yen, like, 500+ sing? Still, if the price drops, can seriously look into this.

Their previous releases are the Saturn V rocket, Space Shuttle, Asteroid probe and a Japanese bullet train. All are really detailed... and really ex!

New Robocop?

Well, we know there's going to be a remake, but... what's wrong with the old robocop? The 80's version was a 'satire' on Corporate America, and the design of robocop back then was typical of American design; big, loud and in your face.

Hard to say now, but the new robocop is kinda.. wimpy, looks like something out of Deus Ex actually. New robo can apparently switch modes to suit the situation, the pic below is his 'SWAT' mode, whatever that does.

Well, the re-made Total Recall wasn't too good apparently. I hope they don't tarnish robo's name with this remake!

100 Toys

Our National museum should do this! Will be more interesting than most of what's on display there nowsadays anyways. :p

This is from the Children's Musuem in Indianapolis, nice that they are doing this. :)

I think so far in the list, we've actually played with most of the items, although some of them are uniquely American stuff!

Not sure about the Cabbage Patch Kids though, that kinda creeps me out!

Guardium Unmanned Ground Vehicle

Pretty cool this, we should have a few of this to guard our camps.... our RP's can then be freed up for other important tasks!... rightt....

The Guardium is an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) created by G-NIUS, an industrial-security coalition between Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit Systems, and employed by the Israeli Defense Forces for patrol and ISR operations. The original Mk I, which we first saw way back in 2008, is still widely used today to guard perimeters and high value civilian targets like airports, as well in field operations where it acts as forward scout and IED decoy.

Apache Part Deux

Got this little gem from the Forces of Valor series from Unimax... it's 1:72 scale but looks pretty good! The panel lines are not too thick, and the wash is not overdone.

The gun swivels and the engine covers can be opened too.

The little details like the rivets are there too... nice!

Best thing? Not very expensive, about $30-$40. They also have a 1/48 scale version, but have not seen that yet. :)

iPhone 5!

Yes, the iPhone 5, not the NEW iphone haha. Well, we've all seen the leaked parts and all already, so no real surprise.... :p It's SUPER expensive though, i wonder how much the telco ones will cost. My contract is up, so i MAY consider getting this!

Lest We Forget...

It was on September 11, 2001, that the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were brought down by a group of hijackers, who crashed planes into the towers.

Seemed like a lifetime ago... 11 years.

Still remember vividly that particular day, everything seemed surreal as the news was live, and seeing a jet crash into a building doesn't exactly happen every day... only in movies!

Regardless of the reasons, lives were lost. And more were lost saving the lives of those trapped in the building.

You will always be remembered.

BF3...AKill!

Argggh! My BF3 got updated today, the Armored Kill expansion has already been pre-loaded to my PC, but doesn't go live till Sept 11th!

GI JOE - Crimson Guard

Got my mitts on Sideshow's Crimson Guard 12" Fig, this version came with a headsculpt of an unmasked "Siegie", but i'm interested in the bad guys more BECAUSE of the masks they wear!

This was one of my favorite figures (along with the Viper and B.A.T) for the 80's 3 inch plus tall figures. The 12" version comes with what looks like a FN FAL, VECTOR SMG w/silencer as a secondary and a Desert Eagle as a sidearm. The backpack opens to fit in 2 mags for the pistol and SMG, plus 2 flashbangs and a mine. Overall there wasn't so much buckles and other items to connect up, so definately less frustrating than the Viper figure!

Hehe, please ignore the clutter in the background! Sweet figure, though i think if it had one of Hot Toys advanced bodies, the poseability would be even better. :)

Evangelion Humidifier

Too bad it's HUmidifier, in Singapore which is already SOOOOO humid.... it'll just make all my toys moldier.... still, cool though!

MOH : Warfighter

Cool video on ST6 combat training, focusing on Sniper's; apparently EA's got a bunch of former ST6 operators to advise them on the tactics, method's and weapons used by T1 operators.. and they're speaking in that creepy gravelly voice ooo! :p

BF3 Armored Kill - Launch Trailer!

Out on PS3! And on PC/Xbox on Sept 11th!..... Oooo!

Meow!

Over at the Hot Toys Booth at STGCC, Catwoman was the most popular figure; there were tons of people crowding around taking pictures of the fig... feel kinda bad for Bane who was kinda overshadowed... underwhelming figure anyway, too skinny!

Anyway, snapped a quick shot of this, even uncle like Catwoman! :D

Another Monday.

Survived! And dangnabbit it's September already! So only 3 months more to X'mas! :D

Haven't been building any gundam stuff in AGES... other than space constraints, there's also a matter of having the time to properly build the kits too. They're pretty well made nowadays too though, pretty much all snap-fit items, with only minor touch ups needed.

Feeling 'itchy' to pick up the hobby again, got to look at getting an airbrush/compressor and all again.. quite a sianz thought actually! :p

Well, i know what present to suggest to my wife huhur! :D

STGCC - Babes!

Only one for now! :p But quite chio! And she was rather obliging, with a few different poses. :)

Busy Day!

Whew! Been a long day, my feet hurt from all the walking around! Was at MBS exhibition centre this morning to catch a look at STGCC, and other than the queue hiccup, it was a rather ok experience, slowly uploading the pics to FB now, more later on the show itself!

After that, went back to NEX for the Gundam World Tour expo, pretty cool stuff on display this time. :) More pics will follow!

STGCC day 1

Hmmm, am in a longgggg queue right now for tickets, wasn't expecting such a queue or is it a ticketing cock up? Anyway, at least the queues moving, so don't have to wait too long.

Lot's of cosplayers spotted already, some are lining up too. There's some noise in the hall now, sounds like someone's giving some lightsaber fight demo!
