Overheard a toy shop at CSC last week talking about lining up for the toys; there was some pinoys asking the owner about the queue, they offered him $800 to line up for the HT figs, the owner replied even if they paid him $1000 he'll only consider.
I guess nowadays, the best way is to collect what you can only when you can get it; not worth fighting the crowd for these!
1/6 has become a very expensive hobby indeed in the last 2, 3 years... add the scalpers and profiteers to the mix and somehow it kinda takes the fun out of collecting with everyone gunning and climbing over each other to get the "exclusives"... seriously overpriced as well ! Wonder how long this industry can sustain itself though :P
