Watched this yesterday in 3D courtesy of a vendor, really reinforces the point that a) 3D still is too gimmicky and looks crappy and washed out b) They didn't create this with spectacle wearers in mind, other than that, the movie was generally entertaining, lots of action scenes, but also lots of things that weren't in the storybook. The love triangle thing was unnecessary, and the ending was... abrupt.
Still, an easy 7/10 just to see some familiar faces and Legolas going all ninja over the orcs haha!
