Looks like this wave of figures is out here in Sg? Saw the rest of the combaticons plus a few of the large figures like Sky Lynx and Scattershot. :)

Fan-voted Female Combiner - Victorion!

Hmmm... whats up with the colors? No offense to color blind people but this is really an eye-sore to me... it was also revealed at SDCC. About as bad as the G2 recolors of Superion and Menasor.

TakaraTomy Defensor

Sure been a surge of Transformers lately! Coming out later this year is the TakaTomy version of Defensor! This one follows more closely to the original release, where Groove (the bike) is an actual limb, and not an add-on like in the Hasbro version. Also, looks like streetwise is also molded in grey! Nice. :)

Oooo... i've always liked how the Japanese package the combiners! No worry about having any of the limbs scalped at retail! :)

Combiner Wars - Warpath

I initially wasn't too interested in this version of warpath; found him a bit too skinny and the proportions a bit off. However, after getting him out of the packaging, the figure turned out to be more than meets the eye! (Haha)

The transformation is kinda interesting in the way the lower legs form the whole lower half of the "tank", the turret is way too big, making him look top heavy and less like a tank; actually, i'd call this warpath more a mobile artillery piece.

The articulation is ok, although the thighs could have a bit more movement in it. Overall, a pretty good toy!

Just opened up this fellow, nice! Realised that the face of Viper is kinda like Wild Weasel's ;)

Haul for Sunday!

So popped over to Metro paragon, lo and behold! They had First Aid and lotsa Blades again haha.

But interestingly, they also had the new wave of the smaller figs! That includes Groove, Warpath and the awesome Viper, which is actually a repaint of powerglide, but is in decepticon colors and meant to look like a Cobra rattler! Even has the Cobra logo! Too cool. :)

Happened to chance across some protectobots on offer while at Metro, so i picked up Hot Spot, Rook and Streetwise. Tons of Blades so i skipped that for now (since its a repaint of Alpha Bravo anyway) but no First Aid.. :p

Fall of Cybertron - Bruticus

Damn Hasbro, you cheaped out on the most awesome combiner from FoC, luckily you redeemed yourself with the Combiner Wars range (mostly), and there was a 3P out there that fixed most of the slack! The original FoC Bruticus was mostly.... Underwhelming. Look at it!

What's up with the proportions man? They cheaped out on the torso by making it the same size as the limbs.... No way that was going to be proportional! Thankfully Master Blaze Creations came up with a kit to form a decent looking Bruticus!

It looks soooo much better, granted a lot of it is "parts-former", the end product still looks darned sweet!

About the same size as supes too, nice!

Combiner Wars!

Spotted this at Isetan, kinda surprised they brought this in since not common at others dept stores yet.

Combiner Wars Wave 2

So picked up wave 2, which completes superion, and introduces Menasor to the collection; think Superion still has better proportions, maybe the designer for Menasor was having an off day... Still, not too bad, but needs another bot to plus the gaping hole in the chest, and that's not released yet! :p

TakaraTomy Superion!

So cool! Takatomy's gonna be releasing all the Aerialbots as a giftset... and all are jets woohoo! Slingshot is back yay! haha, i guess it'll look the same mostly but with the usual additional paint apps from TakaTomy. The US version will apparently also get Slingshot as a seperate figure. :)
