8 days to X'mas!

Man, this week seemed to fly by somehow? It's midweek already amazingly! And the eve is only a week away.... scary... :p Well, the weather's not getting any cooler really compared to other years, or maybe that "fresh breeze" feel is not here yet. Pretty quiet getting to work though, guess a lot of people are on leave!

12 days to X'mas!

Only 12 days more! Brought the kiddies to town today, man, i remember why i avoid town on weekends unless absolutely necessary! I guess everyone's in the festive mood though! :p

16 days to X'mas!

Only 16 days! But man, it'll be here soon. :) Been a busy weekend! Seems December is a good month to get married! Was at a colleague's wedding on Saturday (thank goodness it was a lunch), then my cousin got married on Sunday at Alkaff Mansion, which was a pretty nice venue, quaint and rustic. Plus it was a rather informal affair too, not some sit down Chinese Wedding (yawn). ;p

3 weeks to Christmas!

Oh man, it's just another 21 days to X'mas, then another week to the end of 2014 woo! :) Ah, looking forward to the break hehe.

Raining AGAIN this morning... it would have been great to sleep in... Zzzz....

Brrr! Chilly morning this X'mas! Well, it's raining outside as i type this, got back from my sis's place coupla hours ago, too much food these two days, but not complaining! ;)

Man, i miss the days i used to get more presents than i can count with the fingers on my hands haha! But i guess our time is over for that, and the next generation can carry on and get all the presents! :D My boy and girl sure got more presents than i did! :D

Here's wishing one and all a blessed, peaceful and wonderous Christmas! :)

X'mas - 23 more days!

Ah, hard to believe we're in December already.. that many days have gone by? I always tell my buddy " only x more months to Christmas!" and before you know it, it's really here!

 

Set up the tree about 2 weeks ago already while i was on leave... man! Forgot how messy it was to set it up.. :P Well, tis the season to spend with your loved ones and kick back and relax!

Setting up!

Finally found my X'mas lights, the filament type and not the LED ones; i think in a few short years, the filament ones will be fully phased out. By my kids generation, i think they'll all be LED.

Well, my tree now has 280 lights. Surprisingly it's just nice. :) Only thing is that the lights don't sorta 'sync' in their glowing! :p
