X'mas light up at Gardens!

Wow, just realized I was posting to the wrong blog! Well, better late than never! :p

Today was the official light up for myVillage at gardens, went along with wifey and the boy to partake in the activities and soak up the atmosphere! There was also some karaoke thing going on at the carpark next to the bus stop.... So happening today! Luckily it didn't rain!

 

Christmas eve!

Been a busy day, with wifey's relatives coming over to celebrate her birthday in the afternoon, then heading over to my sis's place in the evening. :)

...ok, that was yesterday! But better late then never! :p









Xmas was spent at my auntie's place, food was good! Lotsa meat haha. :p But can't eat as much nowadays. I think my kid has the most fun, AND the most presents! I don't remember getting so many gifts when i was his age!

Countdown : 11 days

Another 11 days to go before X'mas, then in comes the New Year after that! For me it's another 4 more days of work; will be on leave this Friday to bring the boy for his last jab this year!

Kinda scary seeing so many people scuttling around this year getting presents. Can never seem to find the right gift. Now that borders is closed, there's this dearth of 365 day calendars! Even Kino doesn't have them, so it kinda sucks. :p

Well, it's the thought that counts right? :)

Getting into the mood...

Brought my kid down to town this evening to take a look at the X'mas lightup.

Not too bad this year, at least it is kinda bright! Packed as usual along the walkways, tons of people taking photos and doing their shopping.

When we reached 313, we noticed like a ton of people staring into the sky, when i look up, i noticed the moon was 'eaten up'; didn't pay much heed to it until i was told later that there was actually an eclipse!

Well hope it's not a portent for anything bad; anyway here's hoping to a better 2011, we've been having too much bad things!

It's the Eve of X'mas!

Wow, it's been like, 8 whole months since i last posted! :p Too long yeah, but better late then never! :)

Well, tommorow's Christmas day already, time sure flies. :) Joushua is 10 months old, another 2 mths to a year! They grow up real fast. :) My office is closed till the end of the year too, time for me to kick back a bit and relax after a hectic year. Sure hope next year turns out better for the world in general, what with all the calamities and disasters happening!
