Man, gotta get myself one of these soon, the AR Parrot Drone from Parrot (Which is actually a French company more famous for their Bluetooth devices) is a quad-rotor RC heli controlled through the iPhone4 or iPad!It has two camera's, one forward facing and on downward facing, according to Parrot's site : " Thanks to its many sensors, the AR.Drone can maintain stable flight at a height of up to 6 meters / 20 feet. Since the altitude at which the AR.Drone can fly depends exclusively on the Wi-Fi range, it can fly up to a height of 50 meters / 160 feet. The "Altitude limited" option in the AR.Drone's settings can be adjusted to restrict the height to 3 meters / 10 feet. "
It even appears in the game Homefront as a militarised surveillance version! :) Imagine the uses for the drone, neighbour surveillance, or how about mounting a 100mW laser or two on it for crowd control! The possibilities are ENDLESS! ;)
