So just had the time to complete the SP mode of BF4... and lordy me, it's even worse than BF3, i'll say that straight off the bat. At least BF3 had a focused story line from point A to B, linear yes, but at least easy to follow. Play BF4, and you'll see that story jumping back and forth, and time skipping for no reason... ok, so maybe there's a novel out there which covers all the loose ends, but it's just jarring in the game.
There's also our favorite Russian there, placed there for no reason other than a plot device to get the player out of jail? Why was he even there in the first place? OMG... Also, too much focus on the 'Irish' guy, he got irritating after a while, too emo and whiny for a MARSOC guy. (Actually, who ARE these guys? Not Tier 1 for sure)
Well, at least the graphics are nice. The game crashed on me only twice during SP, so I should count myself lucky!
Lol - at least it had a level set in Singapore :P I didn't even play the SP for BF3 :P doubt i'll play the SP for BF4 :P MP is as annoying as it is already with all the bugs ! DICE says they will be releasing a patch after thanksgiving and there's a 2XP event starting tmr !
ReplyDeleteWooo! I haven't bought premium yet though.... is that why everyone is running around with HK416's while I'm still stuck with an AK-12? :p It's pretty ex, the premium membership, hopfully Black Friday has a sale on it! :p
