Was over the IT show on the opening day.. i happened to be... nearby (on official company business of course, just a coincidence!), it's held at MBS this year, since Suntec is still closed for renovations.
As usual, packed like sardines. It's either every mother/father/son is free on a weekday, or no one needs to work. Hate these exhibitions organized at MBS; security there is anal, and they place bloody barriers at every entrance and corral people like cows into the venue.
On the show itself... boring as usual...so fail! Guess it'd be ok if i was... like buying printers or something. I swear, i think each Singaporean has 5-6 printers in their houses, cos every show i go, i still see people buying them!
Haha, so that has never changed at every blooming IT/SITEX show.. the printers that everyone seems to be carting away as if free ! lol.. I think IT shows will go the way of Pasar Malams.. there's just no real incentive.. although there will be the odd deal on storage or other IT perhiperals... the uncles will go to beo the booth babes ofcourse lol
