Metal build Gundam Banshee

Man, it was hard to take a pic of this cos of the color, so i just laid it down on the bed and snapped off a pic haha!

This is the follow up to the first Gundam Unicorn that was first released almost 3 years ago? It's mostly the same thing, just with a few pieces of equipment. The engineering is pretty cool, as this bot can actually go into 'destroy' mode, and the armor parts slide out and extends the bot by quite a bit.

I should snap a pic of them side by side hmmm... :)

Metal Build ARX-8 Laevatein

Hmmm, wonder how much metal will actually be in this thing? But cool that they're branching out to make different items tho! This is from the series "Full Metal Panic", which is an anime series based off a novel. The mecha here is more real-world compared to fantasy giant robos; closer to Patlabor than Gundam. :)

Metal Build - Unicorn Banshee

Well, it was a matter of time before this came out, after all, it's just a re-paint of the original release, with some parts changed here and there. Still, looks pretty sweet, and the glossy finish is unique (although a matte version would have been 'fiercer').

Metal Build Gundam Exia

This should be the 3rd in the metal build line, although Bandai has released other diecast bots in the past too. So far all three have been from anything but the UC line in the Gundam universe... it'd be sweet if they made a Metal Build Nu Gundam... can't have enough of it!

The Exia looks quite similar to the 00 Gundam, the quality is pretty good, paint apps are smooth without any overpainting, tampos are clear, and the detailing is sharp. It also feels good in the hand as there's quite a bit of diecast parts giving it a good heft.

There's also a ton of accessories and weapons for Exia, including a display base. Articulation is pretty good too!

Although i never really followed the 00 series, this design is pretty sweet, and makes a nice addition to any Gundam collection!
