Farewell to the man

Well, after a week of watching the news on LKY's passing, it's finally time to lay the man to rest! Poor dude's body has been on display for over a week! It was raining cats and dogs too, but people still turned up to line the roads all the way to the Cultural Centre.

Kudos LKY to what you have done to bring Singapore forward back in those days. Hopefully someone in this generation has the wisdom to carry on your good work.

MP-18B Bluestreak

Huh? Looks like they're backpeddling and issuing a repaint AGAIN... although it does look good. The paint scheme follows the diaclone version of Bluestreak which is actually blue in color... cos the other bluestreak is.... silver in color. :p

This is limited apparently to 2,000? WTH, good luck with getting this then. :p

Bandai 1/48 X-wing update

Wow, didn't think it'd be possible, but with the miniaturization and commercialization of electronics, i guess it's viable and not overly costly to do something like this nowadays? More cockpit lights would be nice though. :) Please make a Star Destroyer with Fiber Optic lights please!

I've seen detailed papercraft works before, but this takes the cake! At first glance, hard to believe it's made out of paper if someone didn't point it out. Wow, the patience needed... looks better than some model kits i dare say! More details here!

Soooo... What would i do with a replica prosthetic hand? I was thinking of placing it on my workdesk, but prob won't get through the checkpoint. :p

I wonder what the EU collectors edition will be like?

UPDATE : The Japanese Edition is available for preorder on the JP sonystyle store. About 33,000 yen or about SGD380 before shipping. Ouch!

MGS V : The Phantom Pain Collectors Edition

So, the date has (finally) been announced! September 1st is the day we can find out if Quiet IS really Chico! Woo!

Anyways, the usual collector sets have been announced... Hmmm... what could i do with a full scale replica of Snakes Robot hand (In the Japanese Premium version)? The possibilities... the half scale would be slightly less creepy i guess? The in-game REX helmet is sure to inspire fear in all enemies! All it needs is to be able to launch a nuke! :p

Weird dreams!

Ok, so maybe the room was too warm/cold or something, but had a dream last night, so better put it down before i forget!

So the dream starts off with me stranded in another country (which my brain says is the Philipines, cos the locals look that way), and i was wandering around wondering how i got there in the first place without any belonging or a passport even.

So as i was walking around, i bumped into my buddy, who was working there (Uh, why dude? :p) for

some reason... he gave me some advice to buy a local SIM card for my phone first, so off i went looking for a 7-11 or something, i came across a provision shop, and asked the shopkeeper if he sold the SIM cards. He showed me 3 cards of different values; 10, 20 and 1200, not sure what denomination, but the 1200 value one was worth $50 apparently so i bought that.

Off again i left, i remember walking a longggg way down a dirt track till i reached some housing estate, and i remember remarking to myself how it looked like a HDB estate.. and then i woke up...

So strange!

Looks the official pic is out, though we've seen it many times from pics of the Korean toy show. It's definately gonna be a big one!

Slime... curry.

Ok, it's named after the Slimes in Dragon Quest, so it doesn't describe the curry per se... but the color... oh gawd. I've tried squid ink curry, which is black but tastes just like regular curry. The blue color could be a bit more off putting though. ;p
