Dragon Models Star Wars Kits!

Wow, so Dragon has announced their lineup of models.... other than the AT-AT in 1:35 scale, the others seem pretty... underwhelming? They're all been made before, i guess the only selling point is the scale in 1/144? I dunno. :p

The last day of 2015...

Ah, its been a year already? Here i am in the waning hours of 2015... Slowly slipping by and a new year just peeks around the corner! How frightening and exciting it is at the same time! I can't control what happens in the upcoming year, but i hope as usual it is better than the last... :)

Chainsaw Girl!

Holeee.. Gotta say, pretty impressed with the figure! From VTS Toys using a Phicen body with steel frame! Sculpt looks very good and no seams at the hands/neck/leg!

AT-AT kit!

Whoa! Incoming model kit from Dragon! The only decent ones were the ERTL/MPC ones back in the old days, good that Dragon is bringing it back! Their WW2 kits are pretty awesome, so this should be good too! :) hope they make the other kits Bandai skipped out on.

Haul for the day!

Didn't expect these all to come out at the same time in dec; kinda surprised they made the shipment month actually. Red Bee and "Crampdown" are supposedly exclusives whereas Road Rage is under a regular release... The first 2 are just repainta tho, man they're milking the molds for all they're worth! At least rage has some unique parts!

Hot Toys Spacetrooper

Ok, i know this guy appeared like, for all of 4 seconds in ANH, and farrrrr in the distance... Still, it looks pretty awesome i think! (Although its just a trooper with with an additional backpack) Dun think there has been a figure like this made before. HT really has the Stormtrooper look down pat, so much better than SS.

But not for the usual reasons! Man, sucks when Monday passes and you're on leave haha! If only there was a way to slow time when you're at home to like as it is when you are in office on a normal day! :p

Wow, last nights moon was amazingly bright! Apparently there hasn't been such a full moon on Xmas day since 1977? But even through a pair of binocs, i could mostly make out the details on the surface! Time to get a celestron haha. :)

Ahhh.. so it's finally here. One holiday i usually look forward to because it sorta caps off a hectic year, and one of the few times i take longer leave... well, i deserve it i think haha!

Still, not looking to it being over in a day (ok, 12 days), then once again waiting over 300 days for the next one. :) Well that is life!

Lessee... we got new trailers for Ninja Turtles 2, Batman V Superman, Star Trek Beyond, X-men Apocalypse, Independence Day Resurgence and Fantastic Beasts (and where to find them)... whew! 2016 will be interesting. But looking forward most to Civil War tho. :p

The State of Games

Came across an article on Kotaku that was kinda interesting, and made me realise that hey, more and more games are becoming Multiplayer only; case in point recent releases like Rainbow Six Siege and Star Wars Battlefront.

There was a time not too long ago when having a campaign mode was the norm, with the MP portion tagged on as a bonus. Seems that role has kinda switched around these days. I'd probably guess this has to do with profit and cost; it's takes a lot of resources to make a campaign, whereas to the big game companies MP is like a gift that keeps giving; DLC, season passes, pay to win/skin. :p

Now this won't be so bad if we didn't have to pay the full price for a MULTIPLAYER ONLY game! It seems like we're being cheated when the universe some of these games are built on are so rich in lore, yet they can't be bothered to make a campaign/story from that.

Well, as i read online, they can always sell the camapaign mode to us as DLC. :p $$$

Fallout 4 by Angry Joe!

Haha, overall having fun with the game! Usual bugs n glitches here and there, but nothing game breaking. Interesting how VATS and actual shooting sorta complement each other now? Fallout 3 used to be VATS only hehe.

One thing that bugs me still... why are the character models still so stiff and ugly after so many iterations? Comparing to something like MGS V especially where you can customise your characters look too. :p

So the next line from Hasbro looks to be Titan Wars? Think this was announced some time ago, so old news haha. They'll be making a Fortress Maximus figure using the Generations Metroplex mold... gonna be crazy big again.

Also, Hasbro had a poll recently, asking fans whether they wanted a Titan class Omega Supreme, Trypticon or Scorponok.
