Whoa so soon after the new EP 7 trailer was revealed, Hot Toys strikes with an announcement for 2 new figures.. i wonder what's the difference between HT and Sideshows version?

Woot! The trailer for the Force Awakens is out! Awesome how the few scenes they released whets my appetite for more.... And.. X-wing! :D

GTA V (again) on PS4

So i'm playing GTA V again on the PS4, it's basically the same game with upgraded graphics (which really do look good) and some added functionality specific for the PS4 (the controller is basically the cell phone when it rings, which is pretty cool, and the light for the controller indicates the health status). The draw distance is improved, but the framerate is locked at 30fps... i wonder why they locked it out like that... so as not to make the XB1 look bad?

I think it's time most developers moved on to the next-gen of consoles already; doesn't really make sense anymore to be limited by the restrictions of the previous hardware. Plus prices now are pretty stable too.

Now, just waiting for Just Cause 3 hehe....

Jurassic World

Well this was... unexpected? But when will they ever learn? You can't put dinos and humans together... something's BOUND to go wrong! :p

LEGO Helicarrier?

Rumored next up in the UCS line is the Helicarrier from The Avengers! It's possible that it may be released, but then again, always with a pinch of salt with these rumors! :)

Mondayyyy!

So we're into the last stretch of November! Oh man, that was fast, so it's 5 weeks to X'mas? Hehe.

Been playing a bit of COD:Advanced Warfare, gotta say, the graphics are awesome, and the futuristic setting doesn't take away from the gameplay itself unlike lessayyy... BLOPS2? I think the military technology used in the game is a pretty good expectation of where current technology will be in maybe 20-30 years?

Plot wise i think it's easily figured out how things will go within the first few missions.... i think i'm midway through the game... but enjoying it so far!

In other news! I think BF4 final stand is out! Haven't touched that in ages though, not sure how long the last expansion will take to install. :p

Tamashii Nations 2014 Macross

Oh man, 2015 looks like it's gonna be another expensive year! Lessee... There's going to be a new line of macross figures under the "Hi-Metal R" line ( i do love how they name these :p), there's a new VF-19 coming out, and FOUR more bots under their existing DX line!

Ouch, my wallet screams for mercy. ;)

Saw these two at TRU the other day.... Scary! Really big, can be used as door guardians haha! :p i like Han's expression... It has a 'why me?' kinda look! ;)

Hail to the chief baby!

Looks like 3A is coming out with Master Chief himself this time; i think it's previously been the other spartans from Halo : Reach or something? He's looking kinda bulky though! And the articulation seems a bit off/stiff :p

Woohoo! Actually pics of the model kit! 1/60 but won't be THAT tall i think. Too bad they've taken down the promo video for it but i guess it'll be back soon.

I'm actually more interested in how the LED's will be wired throughout the body and how the batteries will be stored... it's like, 29 LED's? Pretty amazing, and with a electronic system to control the lighting too.

Well, it's coming out soon! Just in time for X'mas! :D

Midweek!

Oh gawd, Wednesday (finally) already? Man this week sure went by haha! :P Picked up a copy of GTAV for the PS4, uh, din have time to even open it man, but the game sure look goooood.... i kinda enjoyed it on the PS3, so the extra detail and FP mode should be interesting! :p

Interesting! Looks like a return to form i hope! :p I guess it goes pretty well with the other sets in the line hehe. :) And i haven't even gotten this year's one yet!

Interesting Week

Oh man, only 6 more weeks to X'mas! Time really flies haha! The decorations are up and lighted at Orchard, and most shopping centre's are having their X'mas sales and whatnot already!

In other news! Another sign that times are moving on, the Creator of a LOT of shows i watched during my youth (eg. Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider, Manimal to name a few) has passed on, RIP man, your shows have inspired a whole generation of people.

Also, the writer of the Choose your own adventure books (which have been a large part of my reading in my younger days) R.A Montgomery has also gone to the pearly gates. I think 2014 was a bad year for the entertainment industry, a lot of greats lost this year!
