Wrestling has lost another great in "Macho Man" Randy Savage. What's the other thing that's great about the 80's? It produced some of the most well-known and well loved characters ever from the then World Wrestling Federation. Names like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, The British Bulldog and more.Of course we knew it was all staged, but the characters were larger than life and we all loved them for the antics they were involved in. The wrestlers back them revelled in the attention they recieved and lived up to their over-the-top reputation and personas.
Sadly, a great many wrestlers battled inner demons and other problems to get to where they were; most died of heart attacks or substance abuse. It is sad to see to many memorable chraracters go this way.
Well, RIP Macho man! You will be missed, and have another go at the big ring in the sky! Oooooh yeeeeaaahhhh! :)
