Eat with your family day!

Woohoo! Early release from office at 4.30pm today! Everyone's so cooperative and the office is empty. :) should have more of this actually, there's little to no Work Life balance on this ted dot. :p

HT Robocop - ED-209

What?!!? Coming out at the same time too? Man... my wallet's crying...

HT - Robocop

Cool! Looks better than their initial release, with voice too! Better buy it or there'll be.... Trouble! :p

UPDATE : Hmmm just found out there are 2 versions of this! One with the Chair, and one with just robo itself.... i'll pass over the Chair version if it's gonna add another 100 or so bucks to it, doesn't look worth it!

Teenage Mutant Niinja Turtles

Seems like its making a big comeback! Saw this display at Toa Payoh last weekend, and also at Takashimaya. The sculpting is different from classic series, but still looks pretty cool. Some have sound effects and voices too! :)

VF Modelling Manual

Pretty interesting book! It's basically a photobook/pictorial with guides on how to build up and improve on the Hasegawa VF kits. Cool pics and color schemes included too!

Xbox ONE

Hmmm... why does it look so... old fashioned? Design wise, it seems to be a step backward. Lots of chatter about other things like an always-online connection needed, no backwards compatibility and paying to play used games.... Urgh.

I just want a GAMES CONSOLE dammit! Can't they keep it simple? I don't need a home entertainment system that's connected to every social media outlet AND requires me to pay a monthly subscription.

Let's hope they get things right by launch... but hey, at least the controller has rumble triggers!

Shack monday

Gawd, my legs haven't ached like this in a bit; all the squatting up and down patching the cables gave me cramps in my calves!

Worked till bout 10.30pm on Saturday, the main building proved a bit tricker, and then there were the cabling issues, but those luckily could be resolved.

This kinda prepared us for the next day, and we finished by about 7pm. I tell you, time just flew by, why isn't it like this on normal days?

Anyway, today turned out pretty ok still, nothing major occurring other than an unexpected overload and some users not know how to use the system.... But all considered, pretty peachy! :p
