Bandai DX Chogokin YF-30 Chronos

This came in the mail this week! Bandai's latest in their Macross DX range. It's a design from the Macross 30 game on the PS3, and a brand new toy compared to the variants of Y/VF-25's that have been released so far.

It's really sweet, the proportions, paint job and joints are all done very well, there's even an integrated waist swivel for the Chronos, so it can have even more dynamic poses now. Theres a good heft to it this time, more gokin incorporated this time hehe.

Overall, a great release!

Silent Hill next gen demo P.T

So there's this previously unknown game demo called 'P.T' on the ps4, that claims to be the scariest ever.... Well, we all now know that it's actually a teaser demo for the next Silent Hill game!

Man, but seriously, the demo is really freaky, the fox engine does a great job of rendering the atmosphere and surroundings almost photorealistically.... Has to be seen to be believed... Plus the 'scare' factor, you never know when you're gonna hear voices whispering or running into those... things.. :p

Star Wars Ep VII Stormtroopers

Well, i'm crossing my fingers on the new trilogy.... i'm still pretty amazed that it's still being filmed and all, hopefully JJ Abrams can do the film justice without it being another kiddie excursion like Ep I-III.

Latest pic leaks are of an updated Stormtrooper helmet..... red herring to throw us off? Is it another type of trooper, or are they all gonna wear this? Doesn't make sense if the Empire suddenly has funds to update their troops to this new helmet.

RIP Robin Williams

Wow, this was totally unexpected! Thought its some joke again, but apparently, he really did take his own life; from reports he was going through depression and drug rehab. Always thought he was a cheerful sorta guy, and enjoyed the films he starred in....

The cinema world has lost another great actor, RIP Mr Williams!

Well, brought the kiddies again to the new Sports Hub (Ex National Stadium), damn, they can sure build something nice when you throw enough resources at it! :p Anyway, it's a big improvement over the old stadium, the new dome had a pretty imposing presence.

They've built a new mall/activity centre around it too... so at least there's some things to do even though it's only about 70% opened?

Oh, and it's National Day too, so Happy Birthday Singapore, till your big 50th next year.

Lego Santa's Workshop!

Seeing how X'mas is not really too far away, i guess it's time to get in the mood haha... for at least me anyway! :p This year's LEGO Xmas set is an improvement over last year's i feel; always preferred them to have a central building of sorts and build around it.

Although the bricks count isn't too high and the workshop itself isn't the most detailed, i think it adds a nice touch to the series. :)

Blast from the past! Wing Commander III

Soooo..... Origin is giving out WCIII for free, starring Luke Sky.. uh, Mark Hamill! I think i actually got this and WCIV back when the game was released. Man the game hasn't really aged well huh? Still, a retro blast to play although i don't have a gamepad or joystick to play it! :p

Gosh, and the FMV... so gaudy!

Oh man! Time sure flies! :p This doesn't seem to be a very good year, so much war and natural disasters.... well, reading the news doesn't help much, i realised most news outlets are biased regardless in serving whatever agenda they have that... sad, so much for journalistic integrity, bet there's no such thing! :p

This year's SDCC was kinda...  blah. Nothing really interesting in Toy news, although the preview for Avengers 2 SOUNDS great. :) STGCC is also round the corner! Not sure if i wanna attend this year! We'll see haha.
