LEGO Female Minifig set

Ummm.... not one of the best things to come out of the line? They should have chosen another creation but i guess there's always the issue of licensing and stuff! Well, now there's the female minifig set, interesting pieces i guess, but nothing really extraordinary.

I guess that's what happens when you work for too long, a routine starts to form, and when leisure time comes... well, there just seems to be too much of it! :p

Better not waste this opportunity tho! Time flies and before you know it a couple of months have come and gone... ;)

Transformers 4 : Age of Extinction

So i caught the latest Transformers movie last night; wasn't expecting too much from it since i didn't like the mess that was part 2, and the jokefest that was part 3. Man, Michael Bay can't direct in a coherent sequence when he gets overindulgent with the explosions! And this was the man who made "The Rock" which i actually kinda enjoyed?

Anyways, the film Stars Marky Mark, Some blonde chick, some useless irish sounding guy, the assistant guy from Devil wears prada, and Frasier. The premise of the story is actually pretty interesting, and brings back an unexpected foe from the past (which you will figure out midway into the show anyway). However, Bay's characteristic "bloat" is there, too many useless lingering shots and scenes that go on WAY too long without any robots in them.

I think the movie would have had better pacing if it was edited better. Also, what's up with all the frickin' product placement? This movie really takes it to a whole new RIDICULOUS level.. stupid lingering shots of the actors drinking whatever product and the slow...zoom.. in... to the package. Gawd.

Did i mention also the other half of the movie taking place in China? C'mon, i know they funded most of the movies, but having these people there just for the sake of it is really annoying. Why not just film the whole darned movie there next time?

So between the incoherent plot, overextended scenes and holes in logic, the movie does shine at SOME points, definitely better than parts 2 and 3 in my opinion, but still lacking. Seeing how there's gonna be a part 5, and some they purposely left some plot points open, i'm hoping SOMEONE ELSE takes over the reigns from Mr Bay.... He can still do the explosions though, he loves those.

I'd give this movie a 6/10. Rant over.

Batman : Arkham Knight

Wow, looks good! Didn't play the 3rd part in the series, enjoyed the first part, and played only a bit of the second one. But... look at that batmobile/tank! :p

E3 2014

So, couple of interesting titles introduced and announced, somehow nothing really.... With the wow factor? Some cool titles though. 

The new Star wars video by DICE was a waste of time, where's the actual gameplay? Yeah cool all the in game engine footage and sending your guys to the archives and 'hoth'. Lessee, Far Cry 4 looks fun for an open world game. There's a new Tomb Raider, but also Uncharted 4 woo!

The MP footage for the new Rainbow 6 game was cool, but i can imagine all the douchebags you'd have to contend with. BF:Hardline is so underwhelming, it's BF with cops, so many of the assets and the overall feel seems like a reskinned BF4... No thanks EA.

MGSV seems like... It's trying too hard. Think they better release it soon before people lose interest. And bring back David Hayter pls.

Lastly, GTAV for PS4 n PC! Glorious. Lots of driving around to do hehe.

BF4 Netcode improvements

Still feels like a slap in the face, especially when then kept calling it "The so-called netcode" previously, and using it in such a sarcastic manner (They're still using the inverted commas). Yet now they're using the term so easily? Wow. Even made a video of it. Seriously, people have been documenting this for sooooo long already. Damage done.

Well, looks like they've FINALLY done something after all the complaints... but... too little too late? :p Think they just upped the tickrate, or localised it around the player, nice new name they gave it "Frequency bubble"

The Final Countdown!

Oh gawd, it's a long time in coming, i tell you, the feeling of throwing the letter is like a HUGGGEEE weight off my self suddenly. Well, have been planning already, it would have been sooner, but, a couple of us decided to hang on a get our bonus/incentive. I guess you'll know when the time is coming to throw in the towel, or whether it's just frustration talking. For me i guess it's the former, the only other time it felt like this was when i left my first job!

Well, 9 years is a bit too long in any job. :p Unless you're the Government of course.
