Seriously. And this is a Medicom product, darn the japs are getting beaten at their own game!
They should take a leaf from Hot Toys. Stuff like this being sold at a premium is unacceptable.
Wahahaha! (couldn't resist).
Clearing out the storeroom today, pleasant surprise to see these old toys again, even though they were stored in boxes, most came out prrreeetty ok. :p Some of the rubber tires had the 'rot' though, that's to be expected in our climate!
Found some toys that have not been seen in a while! This is the F4 from the X-Panders toy range by galoob. (Yes, it sounds like suspenders, a most unfortunate similarity!). The "Power Deploy" feature for this still works and most parts are intact. The Apache is also there, missing one or two acessories. Also found some sky commanders stuff mostly intact, so that's cool.
Those durn indo's are burning their forests again! WTF is up with them man? Well, another slow sunday, got up late, :p So not much done. Packed up my room a bit ( just stuffed things into what ever corner i can ), decided to finally remove the batts from my Iron Man figs; i know what it's like NOT to ( gunky brown liquid mess + the acid will eat away the contacts and plastic eventually ) remove them, so decided to test it out before doing so.
So i manhandled both the MK VI and WMachine, man, the details on these things are amazing... so much better than the first MK III released, guess they learnt after all the complaints! :p Compared to the MK VI, War Machine is so much bulkier, but the small bits of details here and there make it a work of art. Luckily i decided to do so too, found that the batts for the head are dead, so i yanked them out and used those from the MK VI and wahlah! They work thankfully.
Maybe this is part of Hot Toys way of evening out the field for collectors and hoarders.... if they don't sell the toy or keep it too long, the batts will eventually thrash the toy.... so no more such thing as MISB or NIB anymore? :p
Found my MASK raven again, still looks pretty good, and the driver (Calhoun Burns) is still inside!
Also found another bunch of G1 transformers that entertained me in the 80's and early 90's.... ahh, these toys show signs of being well played with!
Also got my Micro Machines collection largely intact; the playsets and all are still there, maybe a bit fiddly but working. :) My favorite was this tool box that opened up into a city, complete with bridge, airport and marina! :D
Gawd, i thought i threw these away; the tech specs and instruction manuals for my G1 TF's and GI Joes. Most of my viper figs are wonky now, the rubber band midsection deteriorated on most of the figs.
One of my favorite figs, the COBRA B.A.T (Battle Android Trooper), it had interchangeable hands PLUS a cool hologram sticker in his chest! :D
